The Futureheads CD Analysis

Back Cover

This is the back cover for the Futureheads CD, its simple but yet it works. The creamy background with the bold black writing make the song names stand out. The band website address is shown on the bottom of the back cover to further promote the band, and the bar code is shown at the top.
CD

This is the CD that is included within the case. Its a plain CD, with The Futureheads written on it and that's it. To me its a very boring CD that could of been made to look for appealing.

Front Cover

The front cover for the CD case is better than the rest of it, as there is some colour that makes it stand out. Once again it is a simple picture but is appropriate for the band.

Lip Synch Task

This is the lip synching task we did, we used the song 'Hounds of Love' - The Futureheads. We organised our time well working as a group to the achieve the best of our ability. We chose our song because at the time it seemed a simple song, but it was a simple as it looked. Some of the lyrics we harder to lip-synch and match up at the same time. Next time choosing a song that is simpilar or make the song more interesting.

Practical Production A2 - Reflection On Practise

1.) How do you think you have improved your practical skills during your first year of studying Media?

I think I have improved my practical tasks during my first year of studying media.

2.) What are the lessons you have learnt from your AS crime production?

I learnt that you can not mess around, you have to keep to your deadline because Media is harder than I though it would be.

3.) Are there any skills/sections you feel you need more support with in the practical part of the course?

I feel that I need more practice with Final Cut Express. I am not confident with using Photoshop, and I'll need to practise.
